I am likely to be internet-free or internet-less over spring break (and maybe starting a bit before then). I have lots going on, and I want to spend the time that is unscheduled wisely.
I still have Joel's response in the works as well as a review on the movie "The Devil Wears Prada". I'm hoping to post those before ya'll grow old and your hair turns white. So far, it's not workin'. ;-)

A really big doxy would be a *mega*-doxy, not a *meta*-doxy. Meta- meaning 'behind'/'above' or 'overarching'/'transcendent'; -doxy as in thought or teaching.

ReplyDeleteI want to see a 'metro-doxy' that collects dried flowers and wears lots of puce, and then a 'metric-doxy' that's really precise and knows it, and finally a meretricious-doxy that would... well, nevermind: there might be ladies reading this.
